Obedience square - Dog training

Obedience square 3 × 3 m in weather-resistant material, which lies heavily on the ground.

The obedience square is used for LP competitions in DKK.

In DKK's LP obedience trials (the obedience trials under the Danish Kennel Club), the square is used as part of several exercises at higher levels in the LP2, LP3, Champion, and LP Elite classes. The dog is directed at different distances into the square. The exercise is called send-away to square.

1. Send-away to square

• In this exercise, the dog must, on command, run from the starting position to a marked square and position itself correctly within the square's boundaries.
• Execution: The dog is sent forward over a longer distance to a marked square, where it must "stand," "stay," or "lie down," depending on the commands from the handler.
• Training focus: Send-away to square trains the dog's precision and ability to follow a targeted command at a distance.

Obedience square 3 × 3 m is available in 9 different colors. Not all colors are in stock all the time, but they can be ordered. Send an email to shop@unikhund.dk if you want a color that is not in stock.
