Trail Foam Dummy - for dog training

Løype Foam Dummy - Foam Dummy for Dog Training

Do you want to teach your dog to retrieve correctly and gently? Then the Løype foam dummy is the perfect choice! This dummy is specially designed for working dogs and breeds with longer muzzles, where ordinary dummies often become too long in the middle bar and therefore uncomfortable to hold.

The Løype foam dummy has a shorter middle bar (10 cm), which provides a more comfortable and stable placement in the mouth and helps to avoid unwanted chewing. It promotes a calm, firm, and correct retrieve – perfect for both beginners and experienced dogs.

The lightweight Løype foam dummy is an excellent choice if you want to start retrieve training or want to train retrieving at high speed – without your dog hitting its paws when it drops the dummy. The lightweight foam also makes it silent when dropped at speed.

Retrieving is an important part of obedience training, and it is crucial that the dog learns to hold the dummy correctly without chewing. The Løype foam dummy has a secure and comfortable grip bar made of robust oak wood, which helps maintain a calm and correct grip.

I use foam dummies in several situations

• Teaching retrieving to puppies. The foam dummy is easy for the puppy to carry and hold.
• Teaching jumping: If they drop it over the jump and hit the jump, it doesn't make as much noise as ordinary dummies. The dog won't be scared by the sound.
• Running in at speed, where the dog needs to drop the dummy on the way in.
• Sitting on a platform with the dummy in its mouth.
