Bungee Rabbit - Pull-along Toy

By unikhund Bungee Rabbit - Tug toy with rabbit fur. 54 cm

Many dogs love toys with rabbit fur; it's delightful and wonderful to sink their teeth into. With Bungee Rabbit, you get a super motivating reward toy that your dog will love to tug and bite.

Bungee Rabbit is the perfect short toy that fits in the pocket of a training jacket/vest. The toy has a black bite area where your dog can easily get a good grip for tug play.

Bungee Rabbit has bungee handles, which are gentler when playing with your dog. The advantages of bungee toys include:

1. Reduced risk of injury

• Softer tug: Bungee handles allow the toy to stretch and absorb some of the force when the dog tugs. This can reduce the risk of injury to the dog's neck, back, and joints, which can occur from sudden, hard tugs.

• Reduced strain for the owner: The elastic effect also reduces the strain on the owner's hand and arm, making it more comfortable to play and train with the dog.

2. Improved play and training

• Increased excitement and challenge: Bungee toys can make play more dynamic and exciting, as the elastic creates "resistance" and a rebound effect that the dog has to work against. This can be particularly stimulating and help maintain the dog's interest for longer.

3. Promotes interactive play

• Tug and release games: Bungee toys are ideal for tug and release games, where the dog and owner pull on opposite ends. This can strengthen the bond between owner and dog and at the same time allow the dog to express its natural instincts.

• Interactive training: The toy can also be used as part of training exercises, working on commands such as "drop it" and "take it," which can improve the dog's obedience and discipline.

4. Mental stimulation

• Unpredictable movement: Bungee toys can move in unpredictable ways when tugged and released, which can be mentally stimulating for the dog and encourage problem-solving and quick reactions.

Good to know when buying toys with rabbit fur: Rabbit fur is a bit more delicate than, for example, lambskin. It can therefore be more easily chewed to pieces if your dog is allowed to play with its toy unsupervised. Use the toy together with your dog during training.
