This lightweight foam dumbbell is the perfect choice for dogs learning to retrieve and taking their first steps in LP obedience.

The sides of the dumbbell are made of soft and lightweight EVA foam, allowing the dog to get used to the look and feel of a traditional LP dumbbell – without the added weight. This makes it ideal for the first exercises where the dog needs to learn to pick up the dumbbell from the ground, carry it correctly, and hold it securely.

The soft construction also makes the dumbbell perfect for training with speed. If the dog drops the dumbbell or hits its paws during learning, the foam is much gentler than a regular wooden dumbbell. This gives the dog a positive experience and increases motivation to retrieve.
