WOODDOG EXTREME (Heavy version) Dumbbell - Wooden Dumbbell for Dog Sports - Blue

New Extreme Heavy Dumbbell from Wooddog. We are pleased to introduce these new dumbbells from Wooddog, designed with both functionality and the dog's comfort in mind.

NOTE: SPECIAL DIMENSIONS: We have designed the model with the largest side pieces (height 12 cm). The biting part has a thickness of 3 cm and a length of 11 cm. Popular dimensions.

The dumbbells are made from a very lightweight material, making them easier for the dog to lift, carry, and jump with – even for young, small, or less experienced dogs. The lightweight design contributes to a more positive and confident retrieving experience.

At the same time, the dumbbells are equipped with extra thick side pieces, making it easier for the dog to spot the dumbbell from longer distances. I am a huge fan of these dumbbells myself and use them for directed retrieve in the elite class for both my dogs. They are also excellent for jumping, as their weight of 220g makes it easier for the dog to get a good pick-up and thus a neat jump.

The dumbbell is FCI-approved, meaning it meets official standards and can therefore be used for dog sport competitions, as well as for daily training.

The dumbbell is crafted with a middle piece of robust beech wood, while the side pieces are made of painted, waterproof plywood, ensuring both durability and resistance to moisture. The design is full-color black and adorned with the distinctive WOODDOG logo on both side pieces.

When choosing the color of your dumbbell, consider this!

It's worth considering the color choice when selecting a dumbbell. Dogs perceive colors differently than humans – especially at a distance. While we easily see colors like red and green, these shades often blend with the ground for dogs. Colors such as blue, black, and white, however, are easier for dogs to distinguish.

The blue WOODDOG dumbbell therefore provides a good contrast to the surface. A good idea might be to have dumbbells in at least 2 different colors, depending on the surface it will be placed on: grass, fiber ground, sand, or artificial turf – your dog will "catch" the colors differently on these surfaces.

With a WOODDOG dumbbell, you get a quality-assured, durable, and well-designed dumbbell suitable for all levels of dog training.
