WOLTERS Vagabond Vintage Travel Blanket

WOLTERS Vagabond Vintage Travel Blanket - Perfect for Dog Training

Many dog trainers, whether in Obedience, Agility, Rally, or other forms of dog sport, use a "break station" for their dog. This is a place where the dog can rest between exercises and recharge its "batteries". Most dog owners want a blanket that they can easily roll up and transport to the training ground. As I use a "break station" for my own dogs during training, I know what good products require.

The WOLTERS Vagabond travel blanket is ideal as a break station during dog training or when you're on the go with your four-legged friend – whether on a trip, holiday, or visiting friends and family. The blanket provides your dog with a comfortable and safe resting place, no matter where you are.

The blanket is lightweight and practical – it can be easily rolled up and secured with Velcro closures, and it has a handle for easy carrying. The surface is made of soft, synthetic plush that your dog will love to lie on, while the underside is treated with the environmentally friendly Teflon EcoElite™ impregnation, making the blanket extra resistant to water and dirt.

When style, functionality, and care for your dog combine, you get a product like the WOLTERS Vagabond travel blanket. This luxurious and well-designed blanket is created for dog owners who want the best for their four-legged friend – both at home and on the go.

The travel blanket combines an elegant vintage-inspired design with practical features that make it indispensable in everyday life. It is easy to roll up and transport, making it ideal for everything from training and excursions to holidays and visits to friends and family. With its integrated carrying handle and smart Velcro closures, the blanket can be easily packed into a compact size, so you can always have it with you.

The inside is lined with soft, synthetic plush that mimics sheepskin, providing your dog with an extra comfortable and warm lying surface. This makes the blanket particularly suitable for use on cold or damp surfaces, where it protects your dog from cold and discomfort. At the same time, the blanket creates a safe and familiar resting zone, which helps your dog relax – no matter where you are.

The durable outer material is made of robust polyester, which is both scratch-resistant and resistant to daily use. The underside is treated with an environmentally friendly impregnation that effectively repels water and dirt. This means the blanket stays clean and functional for longer, even under demanding conditions.

For dog owners who train obedience, agility, rally, or other forms of dog sport, this blanket is an obvious solution as a "break station". It gives the dog a fixed place to rest between exercises and recharge its energy in a calm environment. This very function makes the blanket a favorite among active dog owners who demand high standards of both comfort and functionality.

One of the great advantages of WOLTERS products is their focus on health and sustainability. The travel blanket is completely free of harmful PFC substances, which are otherwise often used in water-repellent materials. Instead, an environmentally friendly impregnation, inspired by nature's own solutions, is used, ensuring effective protection without compromising animal welfare or the environment.

The blanket is also easy to maintain and can be washed at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, making it a hygienic choice for a busy everyday life.

Behind the product is a philosophy where pets are considered full family members. At WOLTERS, the focus is always on the animal's well-being, comfort, and natural needs. The products are developed with care, innovative materials, and a keen eye for both function and aesthetics. At the same time, the company actively works with sustainability and supports animal welfare projects both locally and internationally.

The advantage of Wolters products:

The advantage of Wolters products is that they do NOT use perfluorocarbons (PFCs) in any of their water-repellent materials. These harmful chemicals are often used in the outdoor industry for the production of waterproof membranes and water and dirt-repellent coatings. For the sake of people, animals, and the environment, Wolters completely avoids the use of PFCs and instead uses the environmentally friendly ecorepel® impregnation. The ecorepel® system mimics the natural, water-repellent protection of duck feathers and ensures that the products remain clean and dry.

Wolters Philosophy:

Our pets – big and small, dogs and cats – are beloved family members. That's what makes them so valuable and special. We include our pets in everyday life: taking them for long walks in the forest, ensuring they have perfectly fitted harnesses, high-quality scratching posts, soft leather collars, and toys that suit their natural needs.

Our lifelong love for animals is what motivates us every day. Our mission is to offer equipment for dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as for cats – equipment that is both species-appropriate and comfortable. In our product development, the focus is always on the animal's well-being. All our products are made from innovative, often organic, high-quality materials and offer maximum functionality. Design and color choices reflect current trends and tastes.

We want to give back some of our success – both to animals and people. Therefore, in all parts of the company, we focus on environmental and social sustainability. Our commitment to social animal projects is an important part of our company philosophy. Regular donations to local animal welfare organizations and memberships – such as a sponsorship collaboration with WWF – are a matter of course for us. In addition, we also support international projects such as the organization "A Heart for Strays," which cares for street dogs in Romania, and "Vier Pfoten," which fights against exploitative bear farms in Vietnam. Our love for animals knows no bounds or national borders.
