Sirius Comet Sheepskin

Sirius Comet Sheepskin - Dog Toy for Dog Sports

We are super happy to present another quality brand in dog toys. Sirius designs and manufactures retrieves and dog toys for training. We already have great success selling Sirius retrieves in the shop, and since I have used Sirius reward toys in my training for several years, I know that the quality is top-notch.

The Sirius Comet Sheepskin has a standard bungee handle combined with a braided fleece and sheepskin plait. The toy is braided with different colors of lamb's wool, which makes it super inviting to sink teeth into.

The toy is long and easy to drag across the ground, making it ideal for stimulating the hunting instinct. It's a great solution for dogs that are just learning to play with toys.

Sirius toys have a solid bungee, ensuring many hours of play and reward with your dog. The handle is lined with soft fleece, providing a good grip during tug-of-war. Although the toy is large, it can be folded to fit in the back pocket of a training jacket/vest.

If you also have a dog that loves to sink its teeth into soft lamb's wool, it will love the large bite area with plenty of fur. I can recommend this toy for both puppies and adult dogs.

Why choose lambskin toys for training?

Lambskin toys are a popular choice for dog training, especially for motivation and reward games.

1. High motivation and natural interest: Lambskin has a natural scent and texture that reminds the dog of prey, which can increase its interest and hunting instinct. This makes the toy extra motivating, especially for dogs with a high drive.
2. Soft and gentle on teeth: The soft fur is gentle on the dog's mouth, making it comfortable to bite – ideal for both puppies and adult dogs.
3. Suitable for training rewards: Lambskin toys are often used as a reward in training because they are very attractive to dogs. They can help maintain focus and engagement in exercises like agility, obedience, and hunting training.
4. Strong and durable: When lambskin is combined with strong materials like nylon handles or bungee effects, the toy becomes both durable and comfortable for both dog and owner to play with.
5. Ideal for tug-of-war: Many dogs love tug-of-war, and lambskin provides a good grip, making the game fun and interactive. It strengthens the cooperation between dog and owner and can be used as an effective form of reward.
6. Natural and environmentally friendly: Lambskin is a natural material and often a byproduct of the food industry, making it a more sustainable choice than synthetic alternatives.
