It's hard to find treats that DO NOT consist of animal by-products! So it is with great enthusiasm that we present our NEW BRAND SANADOG. What appeals to me about SANADOG products is their interest in the traceability of their ingredients. They use local raw materials and only high-quality meat in their products.

At SANADOG, they have developed a unique range of special snacks that combine insect larvae and apple – an innovative and healthy treat that you won't find anywhere else on the market. SANADOG Insect Strips look like meat, taste just as delicious, but consist exclusively of nutrient-rich black soldier fly larvae. The snacks are made 100% from whole insect larvae – not just a little insect added, and certainly not made with insect meal. They smell wonderfully nutty and are eaten with great pleasure by dogs of all sizes.

The carefully selected larvae are raised on specialized farms, where they mainly feed on food scraps. They use minimal water and grow quickly – a sustainable and climate-friendly protein source. After harvesting, the larvae are crushed, shaped, and gently air-dried – completely without additives, preservatives, insect meal, or fillers. SANADOG's air-drying method is a modern further development of traditional methods for preserving meat.

Insect larvae are rich in quality protein, unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and important minerals such as copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc. They therefore constitute an excellent and healthy source of nutrition. Insect protein has an optimal amino acid profile, which is particularly beneficial for dogs – in some cases even better than traditional meat.

The delicious insect strips can easily be broken into smaller pieces for small dogs or puppies (over 3 months).

Added glucosamine

For an extra health benefit. Glucosamine contributes to the maintenance of joints, connective tissue, and cartilage. It can promote increased mobility and strengthen joints, which is particularly beneficial for older dogs or dogs prone to joint problems.

When the new insect products began to appear on the market years ago, I was a little skeptical. But I must say, my enthusiasm has grown a LOT. Insects (larvae) contain so many healthy things that benefit our dogs' health. One of the special advantages that makes me happy is that many dogs with allergies tolerate these healthy insect snacks. My dogs love them.
