MUSH Vaisto Green - Freeze-dried complete food - 250 g

Are you looking for the best products for your dog? Then MUSH products are the right choice. All MUSH products are made from high-quality meat. Their products have full traceability back to the animals' origin. MUSH is a recognized Finnish company that places high demands on its raw materials. Their delicious BARF products are very popular among dog owners.

I feed all my dogs MUSH BARF, and they love it. As a supplement, they are spoiled with MUSH freeze-dried products as a topping or as treats in their training.

MUSH Vaisto Green Freeze-dried (beef, pork, chicken) is a gentle complete food for adult dogs. It contains the lowest proportion of bones of all Vaisto products and a little more beef rumen, which makes the product also suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs or for dogs with slower digestion.

Each product in the Vaisto series, which is intended for dogs, contains three different protein sources to guarantee several different compositions of amino acids, bones, offal, and a little vegetables and oil to facilitate digestion and ensure that the dog gets all the important vitamins.

Freeze-dried food is not cooked, which means that the dog can easily absorb the nutrients in the food.

VAISTO Freeze-dried is a perfect food for travel. It is an excellent alternative for those who are used to giving their dog raw food – for those times when you don't have access to a freezer. It is easy to bring freeze-dried food, as it is light, takes up little space, and is also dry. Portion the food into the bowl, add water, wait five minutes, and the meal is ready!

The advantage of freeze-dried food

• Preserves nutrients – Freeze-drying only removes water, meaning that vitamins, minerals, and proteins remain intact.
• Long shelf life – Can be stored without refrigeration and maintains freshness for a long time.
• Easily digestible – Gentle on the stomach and suitable for dogs with sensitive digestion.
• Natural and raw nutrition – No preservatives, additives, or unnecessary fillers.
• Practical for travel – Light, compact, and easy to store and transport.
• Quick and easy serving – Just add water, wait a few minutes, and the meal is ready.

100 g of freeze-dried food corresponds to 300 g of frozen raw food. As a rule of thumb, the dog should get about 1.5% of its weight if you feed raw.

When switching your dog to a new food, it is important to do it gradually to avoid stomach problems. A slow transition helps the dog's digestive system adapt to the new food.

What is freeze-drying?

Freeze-drying is a gentle preservation method where water is removed from the raw materials using low temperature and vacuum. The process preserves the food's nutrients, taste, and texture, making it a healthy and natural choice for dogs.

How is freeze-drying done?

1. Freezing – The raw materials are frozen at very low temperatures (-40 °C or lower).
2. Sublimation – The water in the raw materials evaporates directly from ice to vapor without becoming liquid (under low pressure and vacuum).
3. Final drying – The last residual moisture is removed to ensure a long shelf life.
4. Packaging – The freeze-dried food is packed airtight to preserve quality.

Benefits of freeze-dried dog food

• Long shelf life – Can be stored for a long time without the need for refrigeration or freezer.
• Light and practical – Perfect for travel or trips, as it weighs much less than raw food.
• Easily digestible – Gentle on the stomach and suitable for sensitive dogs.
• 100% natural – No preservatives, additives, or fillers.
