LG Apport 4-sided - Solid colored retrieve dummy for dog training

LG Apport Square - Solid Colored Dumbbell for Dog Training

LG dumbbells are handmade by a small family business in Sweden, where they are produced from scratch. LG dumbbells are made with plywood sides and an oak bite piece, which makes the bite piece less inviting to chew on compared to softer wood types.

At Unikhund, we offer the popular LG square wooden dumbbells, which are ideal for dog training and competitions. These dumbbells are handcrafted with a focus on durability and functionality, making them the perfect choice for both beginners and experienced dog handlers.

LG dumbbells are made of solid wood and are designed to give your dog a good grip. Their square shape makes them stable when placed on the ground. They are easy to handle and perfect for both learning and advanced exercises.

The LG dumbbell is solid-colored. This means it is painted on all edges. This has the advantage that the dog will be able to see it more easily from a distance compared to dumbbells that are only painted on the edges.

Advantages of LG square wooden dumbbells

Note

The new FCI regulations stipulate that all dumbbells used in official competitions must be symmetrical and identical on both sides. This means that both the side pieces and the bite piece must have the same shape, color, and weight distribution.

What does this mean in practice?

1. Symmetrical design: The dumbbell must have identical side pieces, so the weight is evenly distributed on both sides of the bite piece.
2. No differences in material or design: The side pieces must be made of the same material and have the same size, color, and shape.
3. Standardization: Dumbbells must comply with FCI requirements to be approved for use in official competitions, which also means that both trainer and dog must get used to the new design during training.
